01Effective dateThese terms take effect on October 6, 2026. They apply to use of this website and to work accepted under a written session agreement on or after that date. Keep the written scope and the version of the terms supplied with it; a later website revision does not silently change work already agreed.
02Who you deal withThe operator is Sples Top, trading at sples-top.click under the SPLE name. Postal address: 74 Cedar Court, Office 12, Austin, Texas 95088, United States. SPLE is a small remote support team based in Austin. We are not the manufacturer of your computer or the provider of your email account.
03Scope of workRemote computer support covers software and settings that can be inspected through a permitted connection. The catalogue describes individual jobs. A remote tech support session does not include opening a computer, replacing a drive or repairing liquid damage. A machine must power on and have a usable connection for screen-side work. If it cannot, we explain the limit instead of treating a remote connection as a physical repair.
Permission to connectYou must own the device or have authority from its owner to approve the work. If you are an independent technician, obtain your client's permission before handing a session to SPLE. Tell us about employer controls before we change settings. We will not bypass an organization's access rules because someone holding the laptop asks us to.
Control remains with youFor a one-off session you watch the work and may end the connection. Nothing stays installed afterwards unless you ask for it. Unattended access setup is a separate opt-in job with a named access list. Approval for one attended session is not approval for future unattended entry.
04Inquiry onlyNothing is sold or paid for on this website. There is no cart, checkout or payment collection. Figures shown are indicative estimates, not binding quotes. Sending a form, using chat or receiving a receipt number does not create an order. We review your request, send a written scope and price, and arrange a session after you accept those details. Do not send card numbers through the form or chat.
05Fees and additional workPrices are in USD. A one-off remote session is from $45 per 30-minute block, confirmed before connecting. Other work is priced per machine, mailbox, desk or site as its catalogue entry states. The number of devices, required access and the actual fault can change the scope. If a session needs another block, we ask before it starts. You can decline additional work. We do not treat the initial code as unlimited authority to run up a fee.
Booking changesUse Contact if the agreed time no longer works or the machine will not be ready. An inquiry receipt does not reserve an appointment. Any cancellation conditions or third-party costs must be stated in the written agreement; the catalogue alone does not authorize them. Software subscriptions and replacement parts are not included merely because a technician recommends them.
Session guaranteeA session that ends in a hardware verdict within 10 minutes is not charged. A fix that fails within 7 days for the same symptom gets a follow-up session at no charge. Tell us the original session reference and what happened when the symptom returned. This is a follow-up commitment, not a promise that every fault can be repaired remotely.
A different symptom or another machine needs its own scope. We compare your report with the original work before proposing any paid extension. If the follow-up reveals failed hardware, we explain the finding and the need for a local bench; we do not claim software work can repair a damaged component.
06Acceptable useDo not submit malicious files, attempt unauthorized access or interfere with this website or another person's session. Do not use SPLE to evade software licensing or break into accounts. Do not impersonate a device owner. Keep passwords and recovery codes out of inquiries. Enter a credential yourself when the agreed task needs one, and close private documents before allowing screen access.
07Text and marksThe website's original text, photographs and brand material belong to the operator or their respective rights holders. Reading the catalogue does not grant permission to republish it as another service's advertising. Manufacturer names identify the systems we discuss; those names remain their owners' property. You retain your rights in the files you ask us to work with.
08Limits of diagnosisThe website and symptom lookup are provided as is for general guidance. A lookup result is not a diagnosis of your machine. We do not warrant uninterrupted website access or a particular result from every session. A damaged disk, unavailable account recovery route or unsupported application may prevent completion. The session guarantee above remains applicable on its stated terms.
Backups and sensitive filesKeep a current backup before changes. Tell the technician if no backup exists, especially before a profile rebuild or recovery attempt. A synchronized folder is not necessarily a separate recoverable copy. We stop to discuss risks rather than promise that data can always be recovered. Do not use a remote session as a substitute for specialist handling of a failing physical drive.
09LiabilityTo the extent permitted by applicable law, SPLE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or remote support, including lost business opportunities. Liability for direct loss connected with a paid session is limited to the fee agreed for that session. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or rights that consumer law makes mandatory. The limitation does not cancel the no-charge follow-up commitment.
10Stopping workWe may refuse or stop a connection if authorization is unclear, the requested action is unlawful, abuse makes the session unsafe or continuing risks damage. You may withdraw permission and end the connection at any time. We explain what work has been completed and what remains. Ending an attended session does not by itself revoke a separately approved unattended agent; ask us to review that access list and removal route.
11Law and disputesThese terms run under the law of Texas, United States, with disputes heard in the courts of Austin, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules that apply to you. Start by contacting us with the written scope and the issue in dispute. That invitation does not prevent you from pursuing a legal remedy.
12Changes to these termsRevisions appear on this page with a new last-updated date. Changes affecting a scope already accepted require a separate agreement rather than a silent website edit. Check the terms when arranging new work, particularly if the work changes from a one-off session to ongoing access.
