Privacy policy, as a ledger of clauses.

Each row is one clause: what it says, what it means for you in plain words, and why it applies to a remote support service that takes paid clicks from Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Read the row you need. Every row has its own link.

Who and when
01 Effective date This policy takes effect on October 6, 2026, and that is also the date it was last updated. A later version shows its own date here. You need to know which version applied when you sent us something.
02 Who controls your data Sples Top, trading as SPLE at sples-top.click. Postal address: 74 Cedar Court, Office 12, Austin, Texas 95088, United States. We decide what is collected and why. The law calls this the controller. It is the business you hold to account.
What and why
03 Data we collect From the inquiry form: name, phone, email, address, the kind of inquiry, your message, the machine or model you name, and the consent tick. Sent with it automatically: your IP address, the browser's user-agent string, the referring URL, the moment the form was shown and the moment it was sent. From the support chat: the conversation itself, plus a token stored in your browser so you can come back to it. Server logs: IP address, page requested, time, user-agent. In your browser: the consent choice under site_consent_v2. From ad clicks: the gclid, msclkid or fbclid identifier on the link you arrived through. We take no account, no password, no payment and no card data. Nothing is sold on this site. The list above is everything.
04 What each category is used for Form and chat data: to reply, book a session and keep the session note. IP, user-agent and timings: to block spam and abuse of the form. Server logs: to keep the site running and trace faults. Consent record: to remember your choice. Click identifiers: to measure which ad led to an inquiry, only after you allow it. Data is not reused for a purpose outside this list.
05 Legal bases Replying to an inquiry and running a session: steps toward a contract, and the contract itself. Spam checks, security and server logs: legitimate interest in a site that works and is not abused. Ad measurement and analytics storage: consent, given through the banner and withdrawable at any time. European visitors are owed a stated basis for each purpose under the GDPR.
Advertising
06 Ad platforms and click identifiers This site runs paid advertising. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising send traffic here today, and Meta Ads does when a campaign runs there. When you click one of those ads, the platform adds an identifier to the link: gclid for Google Ads, msclkid for Microsoft Advertising, fbclid for Meta Ads. If you allow storage, that identifier lets the platform count an inquiry as coming from its ad. You may have arrived through one of these links. None of these platforms has reviewed or approved this site; they carry our ads, nothing more.
07 Consent Mode v2 Google Consent Mode v2 holds four signals at denied from the first page load: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage. They switch to granted only when you click Allow. Click Decline, or withdraw later, and all four are set back to denied at once. Until you allow it, ad tags cannot store or read identifiers in your browser. Change it: Cookie settings, in the footer
08 Who receives data Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC, for Google Ads: the gclid and the consent signals. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, for Microsoft Advertising: the msclkid; its handling is set out in the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, for Meta Ads: the fbclid, where a campaign runs there. Our hosting provider, which serves the site and stores the inquiry database. Our mail provider, which carries the inquiry notification to our inbox. We do not sell personal data and do not hand it to anyone outside this list. Google's own terms are at policies.google.com.
09 Transfers abroad We are in the United States, so data from a visitor in Europe leaves Europe when it reaches us. The ad platforms move data between their Irish and US entities. Those transfers rest on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the recipient is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The GDPR requires a lawful mechanism for every transfer outside the EEA.
Keeping it
10 How long we keep it Inquiries, their email copies and session notes: 18 months. Chat transcripts: 6 months. Server and access logs: 90 days. The record of your consent choice: 12 months, after which the banner asks again. Long enough to pick up a follow-up job, short enough that old data does not pile up.
11 Security The site is served only over HTTPS. The inquiry store sits outside the public web folder and behind a password-protected panel that only our technicians use. Form submissions pass a spam check before they are stored. Session notes never hold passwords, and we do not record screen video. No system is perfect. If a breach affects you, we tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Your rights
12 Rights under the GDPR If you reach the site from Europe, the GDPR gives you the right to access your data, to rectification of anything wrong, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to portability in a machine-readable file, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Ad clicks reach us from outside the US too.
13 Rights under US state law California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA: to know what is collected, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, to limit use of sensitive data, and not to be treated differently for using any of these. Residents of other states with privacy laws in force, Texas among them, have similar rights. We do not sell personal data. Sharing click identifiers with ad platforms can count as sharing for cross-context advertising, and Decline in the banner opts you out of it. We are a US business taking inquiries from every state.
14 Global Privacy Control If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal (the Sec-GPC header), we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing. All four Consent Mode signals stay denied and the banner does not ask you again. California law requires us to honour it, and we honour it for everyone.
15 Children This site and our sessions are for adults. We do not knowingly take data from anyone under 16. If a child has sent us something, write to us and we delete it. A session needs the consent of the machine's adult owner.
16 Complaints You can complain to the Attorney General of your state and, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency. Visitors in Europe can complain to the data protection authority in their own country. Telling us first usually fixes it faster, but you do not have to.
17 How to use these rights Use the data request form, email [email protected], or write to Sples Top, 74 Cedar Court, Office 12, Austin, Texas 95088, United States. We answer within 10 days. We may ask you to confirm the email or phone you used, so we hand data only to its owner. There is no fee for a request.
Housekeeping
18 Changes to this policy A change is published on this page with a new date in clause 01. If it changes what we collect or who receives it, the cookie banner appears again so you can make a fresh choice. A silent edit is not a change you agreed to.
19 Contact Email [email protected] or call +1 (899) 555-5520, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00 Central Time. Post: 74 Cedar Court, Office 12, Austin, Texas 95088, United States. A technician reads every privacy message, not an autoresponder.

What the table cannot hold

One thing worth saying in a sentence rather than a cell. A remote session gives a technician a view of your screen, and that view is not collected by this website at all. It runs through Quick Assist or a one-time RustDesk client, it is not recorded, and what we write down about it is the short session note described on how a session runs. That note is kept for the same 18 months as the inquiry it belongs to.

Cookie names, who sets each one and how long it lasts are listed on the cookie policy.
